Credited Co-Curriculum Courses
UPM Co-Curriculum and Student Development Center(PKPP) - today (23 Sept 2017) started Credited Co-curriculum Courses for the new students session 2017/2018. 127 facilitators joined this center to conduct 40 courses in 8 main components for 14 weeks. Approx. 3000 students registered for this Co-Curricular courses. Two new courses are introduced in this semester, which are, Air Scouts and Volunteerism Development. To improve the teaching of Credited Co-curricular courses, PKPP exposes to all facilitators to OBE, SCL, Team building activities and Micro-Teaching etc. UPM is very concerned about the application of soft skills. So, PKPP will always be improved in delivering excellent outcome to ensure students have high quality skills. As a step forward for effective facilitate/teaching and mentoring to students, starting this semester, the PKPP will evaluate and give recognition by giving stars (1 star - 5 stars) on the involvement of the facilitators. Also produce professional reading materials (books, manuals, academic magazines etc).
